The woman who follows the crowd will usually go no further than the crowd. The woman who walks alone is likely to find herself in places no one has ever been before.

Johnny Mari dresses are always a knockout. It is a boutique which houses the hottest prom dresses in the Michigan area. Johnny Mari is strikingly refreshing from Windsor and large corporate powers such as JC Penny, Dillards and Macy’s, all of whom practice the George Rtizer’s concept of McDonaldization; which can certainly be applied to formal wear: Efficiency, Calculability, Predictability, Control, and a Unifying Culture. As a result of this process, you get bland, cookie cutter styles which never approach the edge, let alone the cutting edge. Johnny Mari upsets this process, as each dress is exclusively made in a few sizes and cannot be ordered on a website. This can be a Debbie Downer for a fashion conscious, tradition defying bride, but a miracle for any woman who wants to be a knockout at a wedding, club, or any formal event.
I remember simply being blown away when I first walked into the store. Think of Dancing with the Stars fashion without a plunge in the savings. Dresses are available in every color and a truly rhine stone and sequin match made in formal fashion heaven. Dresses are available in mermaid, trumpet, a-line, empire, sheath or princess in breath taking vibrant colors, sequin, and stones, some are a sheer nude color with colorful sequins and stones while other dresses are multi-colored which echoed the many spirits of Nicki Minaj’s alter egos’ such as Harajuku Barbie. Many of the dresses are so cutting edge; they can be worn with a cropped, motor cycle jacket, cropped jean jacket, or a J Crew cashmere button up sweater for those who have a not so formal mentality to formal wear.

They have white dresses, which could melt any bride’s heart, while some wedding-appropriate dresses are cutting edge, like a beautiful white sweet heart neckline mermaid dress with gold rectangular sequins which is present in the store. My wild, fashionista instinct desired to consume everything; it’s just as satisfying as collecting books on classical theory and paintings. All dresses are truly made from love, and they are all a work of art.

Johnny Mari also has beautiful hair pens and rhine stone hair combs in which Davis Bridal can charge a whopping $150.00, however, Johnny Mari prices range between $10 to $40 dollars.
I had an event approaching, and I could not get my consciousness away from this beauty. I received compliments and stares upon every turn, and I felt truly amazing. If you are a curvy person such as myself, Johnny Mari Dresses fit a curvy woman’s body fabulously. I am currently searching for the perfect wedding dress. I will continue to stop frequently, since the shipment of dresses, to my upmost surprise, seems to ALWAYS be a surprise. This is the best money I have ever spent on a formal dress. Johnny Mari is located on 694 West 14 Mile Rd at Oakland Mall.

My experience as a PhD student is a result of ten years of my life in the academy, while experiencing nostalgia while studying history and philosophy. My years in the academy allowed school prep as a lifestyle, which is second nature to me. Therefore, my splurge on Burberry House Check Rubber Rainboot makes perfect sense.
Pencils and pens tucked away in my afro, academy emblems on letterheads and sweaters, Ray Ban geeky glasses which allows further negotiation between the community college and the university, triple breasted blazers, and trench coats which translates fashionably well in gray weather and chilly classrooms with Coach Leather Totebags, which are durable enough to endure all of the books on educational theory and justice, calculators, and dry erase markers. As my fiancée and I curl up and study our respective academic disciples in order to show up and show out at the academy the next day. I now realize an academy wedding suits us and our guests’ best.
My guilt-free, well deserved splurge on the Iconic Luxury Brand made perfect sense because of my life in the academy. The House Check is a western construct, and my preppy life in the academy is well endowed in it. My life, endowed in an ever-evolving understanding of world history, the Iconic British Brand has a hand in history because the trench was made popular during World War II.
My new Burberry rainboots are a result of a decade in the University as well as a sense of nostalgia; influenced by my readings of world history in order to understand my current school work and teaching students. My boots symbolize my fetish for long conversations with likeminded historians, economist, pharmacist, and philosophers on history, as the house print reflects my life immersed in prep.
My Burberry rainboots are such a pleasure to wear. I do not reserve these boots for a special day, I wear them in the snow and rain and they keep my feet very warm while walking in and out of the academy. The boots are made of rubber, which is a Black, matted color rubber and the house check panel graces the boot. I typically wear them with Black leather pants or skinny jeans with a trench coat.
